MRAN Night Race Series Round 1 Primm, NV 06/06/09:
The BlueWater GP has been a favorite race of the team's, this years race was no exception.
Shaun started the dead engine race in forth place around the first turn. A freak thing then happened, a 1 in a 1,000,000 stray rock shot killed the motor right after the second turn. Shaun got the quad back in the race but most of the main race pack had gone by him, forcing a come from behind scramble through the first lap. Cody mounted for 2 laps screaming through the pack, passing all the way back up to 5th place in the Pro class. Shaun mounted again for his 2 laps, but began having engine issues. He got the quad back to the pits but well behind the leaders. After a longer than normal pit stop to check fluids and for problems Shaun continued the race to gather as many series points as possible, finishing the race with no other real problems. The team sits 3rd place in points with the 1000 mile Vegas to Reno coming up in August, stay tuned.
AMA Supermoto Round 3 Las Vegas, AZ 05/31/09:
Shaun's Report from the AMA XTRM Supermoto in Las Vegas:
Shaun - He got great starts in both the heat and main races. Shaun fought his way up to 3rd in the heat race before a rider stalled his quad on a blind corner, leaving him no where to go. he eventually got around the rider but he ended up 6th rather than 2nd. In the main Shaun again had a pretty good start, passed a rider and stayed in 4th most of the race. He ended up getting passed late in the 8 lap race, finishing 5th. He ran very consitantly, and his 450mx ran very well, against many big bores as the Quad class is an "OPEN" one.
The AMA decided to let quads race in Round 3 of the AMA XTRM Supermoto Series. Shaun and Cody both ran well on the X games Style track.
Cody- He had to be one of the fastest riders on the track. he set blistering paces through the dirt section, and the pavement. the problem was he got tangled up off the start in both the heat and main races, forcing him to come behind. He ended up finishing 9th for the weekend, but he rode like a mad man.

AMA Big 6 Grand Prix Series, Primm, NV 05/02/09:
Cody decided to run his first AMA Sanctioned event of the year, round 4 of the "Big 6 GP Series and took home the first place trophy! He had led the race from about half way through lap one and never looked back. His only competetion was his own teammate, Shaun who came in 2nd.
Shaun Scored a 2nd place in Round 4 of the AMA Sanctioned "Big 6 GP Series". He had a near flawless race, despite the fact that he had a rear shock thats not set up for such rough terrain. When the race started he hole-shotted the entire field, gappi... MORE
MRAN Boulder City Grand Prix, Boulder City, NV 04/25/09:
Cody departed from the normal schedule to run this local MRAN Sanctioned event, and did well! He grabbed a "silver metal" for the weekend on a almost complete Motorcross style GP course. An big accomplishment considering he vocally HATES jumping. Good job anyways, Cody!
Shaun also attended the MRAN Sanctioned Boulder City Grand Prix scoring a number "3" spot on the podium. Shaun ran quite well on his 450mx, staying in the top five for most of the race. A DNF and a late race pass allowed him to grab the 3rd place spot on the mostly Motorcross style track.
Stateline Supermoto, Primm, NV 04/04/09:
Cody
Cody had a very good weekend at the Stateline Supermoto, grabbing a 1st place in one Class and a respectable 7th with his KTM 450xc among a class full of big bore motors.
15-24 ATV: Cody found himself ahead of the pack from start to finish in this main. He rocketed off the line, grabbing a huge holeshot and making the rest of the class fight for 2nd place.
Unlimited ATV: Cody had a great showing in class of "Big Bores" finishing a solid 7th. He was able to keep pace really well, but even at his riding wieght of 140 (soaking wet) his 450 lacked the power on the asphalt to really move up to podium contention.
Shaun
Shaun had a good Stateline Supermoto weekend despite quad issues in the Pro ATV main. He ran a very soild Pro-Am race with an undersized engine and alot of heart.
Pro-Am: Shaun started the main in the middle of the 16 racer main and quickly made his way up to 6th place "running the quad as hard he could" he said. Normally, power isnt a problem with his 512 cc stroked YFZ known as the "Bling Quad", but it sucked a valve earily in the day and he resorted to using a backup quad a friend was using at the race. Shaun still rode hard and earned every bit of his 6th place finish.
Pro ATV: Shaun started this race on his 3rd quad of the weekend,a brand new KTM 450 mx. He had an awesome heat race running up in 4th place until a costly mistake in the dirt section dwindeled his finish to an 8th. In the Pro Main event Shaun ran well, staying mid pack, until an electrical problem ended his chances at a good finish.
