Shaun's racing career started in late 2000 when he raced a local TT series on a modified Yamaha Banshee. He was introduced to Desert Racing in 2001, taking second place in his first race as an "expert" and a mere 18 year old. The next season (his first full season) he along with teammates took the second spot in points for BITD (Best in the Desert) Racing series. Shaun expanded his portfolio from 2001-2004 trying and succeeding in several different racing disciplines including: Endurance, TT, MX, and a regular at "Quad Wars" exhibition shows while continuing his Desert Racing career. He discovered supermoto racing in 2006, having TT and MX racing experience helped him score several top five finishes and podiums to add to his trophy case. 2007 saw Shaun with new teammate Cody Mitchell and another title to strive for, a class championship.

Cody Mitchell

Cody started racing competitively in 2003. At a mere 12 years old, he rode his modified Blaster in a local desert racing series, where he excelled very quickly. He started expanding his portfolio in 2005 competing in two different desert racing sanctions as well as Supermoto. Cody won his first class championship in 2006 when he took the Expert Class Championship in the Best in the Desert series (BITD) at 15 years old. The same year he won the Sport B Class in Western Off road Racing Championship (WORCS) series. In 2007 Cody "officialy" became part of the ACE Racing team, partenering up with Shaun for WORCS, BITD, and supermoto events.
